Death Metal Song Teaches You How To Drive A Stick

My wife recently did one of those Facebook surveys where they ask you to answer all sorts of questions about your spouse. For my favorite music she put . I do like death metal, but I wouldn’t label it my favorite genre. However, when it comes to a … the harder the music, the better the driving.

We live in a sad, pathetic society right now. People are perpetually offended over things not worthy of offense, men don’t change their oil anymore, and the art of driving a stick is dying. We’ve mocked carjackers for years who can’t steal the car because they don’t know how to drive stick. Unfortunately, sometimes their lack of manhood turns into tragedy.

One thing is undeniable … driving a stick is WAY more fun than driving an automatic, or those flappy paddle thingies.

So who’s going to help save society by keeping manual gearbox driving skills alive? The boring Driver’s Ed teacher? Ha! Most of those guys suck at driving themselves.

No, our heroes are these death metal saviors of society. Learning to drive has never been so awesome!

Bonus points for the facial expressions of the guitarist.

3D Printing An Epic Sword Baby Rattle

I’ve vowed to document more of my for you on this website rather than just social media.

Matthew at MyMiniFactory.com modeled this awesome baby rattle.  I mean come on … it’s me … I LOVE knives! How could I not print this thing?  Plus, my wife is a photographer.  It could be a great prop for her to use.

The whole print was done on my Orion Delta 3D printer from SeeMeCNC.com.  It was printed in PLA (3 colors) at a 0.2 layer height (standard resolution).

I also printed the rattle beads from Matthew’s files. I printed 2x as many beads as included in the file. You drop them in one by one as the sword blade is half printed. The blade is hollow so you just drop the beads right in.
