As previously covered by The Daily Wire, transgender LGBT activist Jessica Yaniv has filed a total of 16 complaints with the British Columbia Human Rights Tribunal against female estheticians who do not wish to wash Yaniv’s male genitalia. Yaniv claimed the women were discriminating based on “gender identity” and is seeking financial restitution. Earlier this week, one of the targeted women said she was forced to close her small business due to the complaint from Yaniv.
While conservatives, liberals, and even some feminists have called foul over Yaniv’s attempt to essentially force women into providing a service on his male genitalia, a service the salons do not provide (male and female bikini waxing are not the same), the trans activist has been making the media rounds boasting about his activism.
On Tuesday, for example, Yaniv joined Irish broadcaster Niall Boylan on “The Niall Boylan Show” to discuss the filed complaints. But after the host pressed the activist as to why the female estheticians’ rights are trumped by his, Yaniv abruptly ended the interview.
Showcasing the coercion from Yaniv, Boylan laid out an example about his disbelief in God.
“Now, you believe in God; I respect the fact that you believe in God. And I respect your point of view and I respect your belief and your faith in God. That doesn’t mean I have to believe in God. Do you understand the point?” he asked.
“I do,” answered Yaniv.
“Some people may respect you, and may respect that you want to be called Jessica, but they just don’t believe it,” the host said. “I’ll call him Jessica, I’ll respect that, but I don’t believe it and I don’t buy into it.”

After much criticism of the biggest technology firms, such as Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon for alleged prevention of competition in their fields, the Justice Department has commenced a huge antitrust review.
Attorney General William Barr is spearheading the effort, which is expected to penetrate more deeply into the companies’ practices than the intentions of the Federal Trade Commission. Justice Department antitrust chief Makan Delrahim stated, “Without the discipline of meaningful market-based competition, digital platforms may act in ways that are not responsive to consumer demands. The department’s antitrust review will explore these important issues.”
In late June, President Trump accused social media companies like Google and Twitter of attempting to “rig the election” and suggested they should be sued, saying, “I tell you what, they should be sued, because what’s happening with the bias— and now you see it, with that executive yesterday from Google, the hatred for the Republicans. It’s not even like, ‘Gee, let’s lean Democrat.’ The hatred! And actually, you know, I heard that all during my election. It’s hard that I won. They were swamping us with negative stuff.”
Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo stated, “These companies have an enormous amount of power if they can even stop the president of the free world from getting his message out.”

WELL, YES: “I’m tired of hearing conservative friends apologize for President Trump’s ‘go back to where you came from‘ tweets about the likes of Ilhan Omar. The president has the moral high ground, and the weasel war dance of the mainstream media shouldn’t distract us from this fact.”
Judging by the polls, I think we may start seeing these again.

Listeners react to President Trump’s ‘go home’ tweets that the media is taking completely out of context. I also give examples of recent hypocrisy on this same language just days before this happened where Democrats and the media couldn’t care less because the target of this language were Trump supporters.

The lapdog MSM has continued to give Obama a pass on most of his assault on the press. If they’d shown anywhere near the outrage they show now towards President Trump’s words for Obama’s actions, maybe they could be taken seriously.
On Thursday, the Columbia Journalism Review reported on the results of a Freedom of Information Act request for documents related to the Obama Justice Department’s attempts to crack down on leaks to reporters which reveal that the Obama administration’s actions against the press “were broader than previously known.”
CJR’s report, authored by Ramya Krishnan and Trevor Timm, is based on a highly redacted 59-page report by the Justice Department’s Office of Professional Responsibility completed Dec. 9, 2014 and obtained via FOIA request by the Knight First Amendment Institute at Columbia University and the Freedom of the Press Foundation (where Krishnan and Timm work, respectively).
“In 2013, the Justice Department launched a brazen attack on press freedom, issuing sweeping subpoenas for the phone records of the Associated Press and several of its reporters and editors as part of a leak investigation,” the authors report. While those subpoenas have long been understood as “a massive intrusion into newsgathering operations,” they note, the recently unearthed 2014 report reveals that the subpoenas targeting AP “told only part of the story.”
The Office of Professional Responsibility’s report on the Obama Justice Department’s subpoenas of AP phone records reveals that “the DOJ’s actions against the AP were broader than previously known, and that the DOJ considered subpoenaing the phone records of other news organizations, including The Washington Post, The New York Times, and ABC News,” the authors explain. The report also reveals “how narrowly the DOJ interprets the Media Guidelines, the agency’s internal rules for obtaining reporters’ data.”
