President Trump continues to disappoint the left by defying their accusations: now he supports Colin Kaepernick???

Trump … Derangement … Syndrome.

It has been a tough week for narratives concerning conservatives, and those on the right, which are pumped by leftists and the media. A group of conservatives went into a black community to help with cleanup efforts, the White House honored shooting victims by flying the flag at half-mast, and Republicans are even considering some gun-control legislation.

Of course, these facts have not changed perceptions. That cleanup crew only did so because they are racist. The President was said to have lowered the flag to honor Adolph Hitler, and the GOP lawmakers considering Red Flag legislation opened the door to be called potential Red Flag violators.

In the latest accusation-busting move President Trump came out with comments about Colin Kaepernick, and they do not exactly line up with the years of accusations of him supposedly treating the NFL in a racist fashion.

Well now, how could this be?! Trump was blatantly racist when he criticized Kaepernick, right? Or, just maybe, he was actually criticizing the act of kneeling by the former quarterback during the anthem, and it was not specific to his race in any way???

NAH! He’s just a RACIST!!!

Trump only wants Kaepernick back in the NFL because he Trump knows Colin will continue to protest by taking a knee and he wants to use that as election tactic, not because he really thinks Kaepernick should play.

PRAGER: America Is Drowning In The Left’s Lies About Trump

The president of the United States, Donald Trump, never said there were “fine” Nazis or Ku Klux Klansmen.

This is one of the two great lies of our time — the other being that all Trump supporters are racists — and perhaps in all of American history. I cannot think of a lie of such significance that was held as truth by so many Americans, by every leading politician of one of the two major political parties and disseminated by virtually the entire media.

The major news media need to understand these are important reasons that half of America considers them frauds. And we get no pleasure from this fact. The reason we don’t recoil when the president labels the mainstream media “fake news” is that we know the charge is true. Has one major media news outlet yet apologized to the American people for preoccupying them for nearly two years with the lie of “Trump collusion” with Russia? Has one Democrat? Of course not. Because with regard to the Trump-Russia collusion issue, the news media were never driven by a pursuit of truth; they were driven by a pursuit of Trump.

In my last column, I offered a way of proving Trump supporters are not racists. The timing was, unfortunately, perfect. I could not anticipate how two horrific mass shootings would enable the left — the press, the Democrats, academics and Hollywood — to scream even louder than before that Trump and his supporters are racists and that their racism is why such shootings are taking place.

This is all predicated on what may be the most glaring lie of all: that, after the Charlottesville demonstrations, President Trump said Nazis are “fine people.”

The president never said there were fine Nazis. The left-wing assertion that the president of the United States said there were fine Nazis will long endure as an example of something that has been true since Lenin: Truth is not a left-wing value. Truth is a liberal value, and it is a conservative value. But it is not left-wing value. A leftist says whatever is necessary to gain power.

By remarkable coincidence, this week’s PragerU video is titled “The Charlottesville Lie.” It proves the president never said Nazis were fine people. When Trump said there were “very fine people on both sides,” he was referring to people demonstrating in Charlottesville for and against tearing down a statue of Confederate general Robert E. Lee, not to Nazis and Antifa.

The video is presented by CNN political commentator Steve Cortes, a voice of courage in the herd known as the mainstream American media. At this moment, of PragerU’s 325 videos, Cortes’s “The Charlottesville Lie” is the one I most want Americans to watch. The harm that the media and others on the left have done and continue to do to this country by charging the president with praising Nazis and other white supremacists is incalculable. It has only served to inflame and divide Americans: the tens of millions who believe the lie and the tens of millions who know the truth.

Liz Wheeler: 5 Stories The Media Refused To Cover This Week

Liz Wheeler is fantastic and is an absolute follow. This segment is also very informative. However, she is incorrect about violence and video games. She right that there was a Dartmouth study in 2018 showing a correlation with violent video games and aggression, however, if you read the study and not the study’s press release, it makes clear they can’t make a strong positive connection. The scientific community picked the Dartmouth study apart pretty convincingly. Here’s a piece on the problems with the study from Psychology Today. Here’s far more research highlighting there is no relationship with playing video games leading to violent behavior.

The rest of her piece is fantastic. My audience has heard me mention several of the stories she covers here:

Justice Department Releases Bruce Ohr Interview Notes

The Justice Department on Thursday released partially redacted transcripts of interviews Bruce Ohr conducted with the FBI after his contacts with Christopher Steele, the author of the infamous anti-Trump dossier.

Ohr, who served as deputy assistant general in the Justice Department, had numerous contacts with Steele during and after the 2016 election as part of an investigation into possible links between the Trump campaign and Russian government.

The FBI conducted its 12 interviews with Ohr from Nov. 22, 2016, through May 15, 2017.

Ohr told the FBI details of what information Steele provided from his investigation of Donald Trump’s possible ties to Russia.

Ohr said Steele told him in one conversation in September 2016 he was “desperate that Donald Trump not get elected and was passionate about him not being the U.S. President.”

Trump WRONGLY Suggests Regulating Video Games In Wake Of Mass Shootings

President Donald Trump implied his support Monday for increased regulation of video games and monitoring of the Internet, which he suggested were catalysts for mass shootings.

Trump did not address potential gun control legislation in his 10-minute speech, though he said earlier on Twitter that he is looking at strengthening background checks for gun purchases.

“We must stop the glorification of violence in our society,” Trump said in his prepared remarks at the White House.

“This includes the gruesome and grizzly video games that are now commonplace. It is too easy today for troubled youth to surround themselves with a culture that celebrates violence. We must stop or substantially reduce this, and it has to begin immediately.” (RELATED: Federal Prosecutors Are Treating El Paso Shooting As Domestic Terrorism, Possible Hate Crime)

Despite Trump’s calls for regulation of video games, research on a potential link to violence is mixed. A 2015 study in the American Psychological Association found insufficient evidence that video games lead to violence. The Atlantic noted over the weekend that numerous other studies have failed to prove a causal link between video games and shootings.

Well, the research actually isn’t mixed. It’s pretty clear that violent video games don’t lead to violence.

Read THIS POST for links to tons of research proving violent video games don’t cause violence.

This study actually shows they are good for you.
