After much criticism of the biggest technology firms, such as Google, Facebook, Apple and Amazon for alleged prevention of competition in their fields, the Justice Department has commenced a huge antitrust review.
Attorney General William Barr is spearheading the effort, which is expected to penetrate more deeply into the companies’ practices than the intentions of the Federal Trade Commission. Justice Department antitrust chief Makan Delrahim stated, “Without the discipline of meaningful market-based competition, digital platforms may act in ways that are not responsive to consumer demands. The department’s antitrust review will explore these important issues.”
In late June, President Trump accused social media companies like Google and Twitter of attempting to “rig the election” and suggested they should be sued, saying, “I tell you what, they should be sued, because what’s happening with the bias— and now you see it, with that executive yesterday from Google, the hatred for the Republicans. It’s not even like, ‘Gee, let’s lean Democrat.’ The hatred! And actually, you know, I heard that all during my election. It’s hard that I won. They were swamping us with negative stuff.”
Fox Business host Maria Bartiromo stated, “These companies have an enormous amount of power if they can even stop the president of the free world from getting his message out.”
It’s been both amusing and frustrating watching the left pretend they’ve only started using this rhetoric recently because Trump is just so horrible. The fact is, the political right already knew what liberals were going to say regardless of who got the GOP nomination. Every … single … major election … it’s the same thing. The Republican is a racist, sexist, homophobe who cheats on their taxes and has some sexual impropriety. They will always be called a Nazi and fascist along with all of their supporters. Literally, every time.
When the right says the left’s constant vitriolic rhetoric is why Trump was elected, this is what we mean. We wanted someone who would finally fight back against these frivolous accusations. As a result of Trump fighting back, they’ve lost their collective minds because they’ve never had to deal with a fighter before.

Hillary Clinton won the popular vote by nearly 2.9 million by campaigning in Democrat strongholds to boost her popular vote numbers because she feared she would win the Electoral College but lose the popular vote. Campaign insiders said she used this strategy because the data algorithm she used to run her campaign, called Ada, showed her losing the popular vote but winning the EC. Ultimately, this strategy of pursuing an inflation of her popular votes and ignoring key states would ultimately be her undoing.
I posted this on Facebook the other day. It’s utterly ridiculous to limit a talent’s social media presence. I went through this at CBS. They banned all social media and podcasting as it was just surging. A presence on a platform isn’t an issue, especially on Parlor. Her post content would be the only potential issue and she’s not being accused of posting inappropriately.
The real story here is that a coworker leaked this to the public in order to smear her. That person should be fired. I know they violated the terms of their employment for doing this.
A Fox 10 host in Phoenix whose bosses asked her to hide her account on “right-wing” social media platform Parler because a left-wing outlet might notice it had a terse response; “F*ck them”.
Fox 10’s Emmy Award-winning anchor Kari Lake dropped the f-bomb on camera as she was preparing to do a Facebook Live broadcast and the clip was subsequently leaked online.
Good for her.
I also love how she called the paper a bunch of 20-year-olds who run a rag to sell pot. Savage.
LOL! This is a huge mistake for the Democrats and is likely to backfire given that polling shows an overwhelming number of Americans oppose impeachment. I wrote an article many years ago called ‘Impeachment Chic’ that covered the growing trend of people wanting to impeach elected officials simply because they didn’t like them. Even when those officials didn’t do anything that qualifies for impeachment. The far-left liberals didn’t read my article.
House Democrats have officially pushed Speaker Nancy Pelosi to schedule a vote considering articles of impeachment for President Trump. The vote will take place Wednesday and is being spearheaded by Texas Democrat Al Green.
Green is no stranger to articles of impeachment for President Trump and has introduced them multiple times on the House floor. They’ve never received a vote. Last night he did it again, leading to a full House vote later today.
A conservative nonprofit has filed a federal lawsuit accusing the Hillary Clinton campaign of violating election laws when it paid British citizen Christopher Steele to gather Kremlin-provided political dirt on candidate Donald Trump.
Though not stated outright, the lawsuit argues that Democrats violated an admonition issued last week by Federal Election Commission Chairman Ellen L. Weintraub. She decreed that political campaigns cannot accept “anything of value” from foreign nationals.
The lawsuit from The Coolidge Reagan Foundation says the Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee accepted something of a value from a foreign national, Mr. Steele, in the form of Kremlin anti-Trump smut.
The suit’s purpose is to persuade a federal judge to order the FEC to vote on whether to open a formal investigation.
