What Really Think Of – Video

A couple of years ago I was invited to speak at a local high . Nothing unique that. I speak to kids all the on a whole host of topics. This high school, however, was primarily minority students, and I was speaking to a class for students who’d had trouble in the past.

I was talking about government and how the media culture can shape public opinion about various issues.

During this discussion, I brought up a recent story I’d talked about on my show involving a city councilman from Gary, IN saying that drug testing welfare recipients was racist. I started the topic by asking the students if welfare recipients should be drug tested. The class overwhelmingly said they should. They understood taxes paid for those benefits, and they didn’t want an addict to use their money for drugs.

My follow up question asked them if they thought the drug testing was racist in any . Again, overwhelmingly, in class after class of minority ‘troubled’ students, they said it wasn’t racist. I then quoted the councilman saying that it was racist. The students expressed shock that he’d say such a thing, and openly mocked him (my kinda peeps). Here’s the kicker … they assumed he was white, and a racist himself for assuming that only people are on welfare, and that only black people are drug addicts. Ha! How many years have you heard me say that? The councilman, of course, is black. ‘Why would he say that?’ ‘That doesn’t make any sense,’ they said. I agreed.

I went in to voter ID with the classes too. Again, they were surprised that people would just assume that they were incapable of getting an ID simply because they were black. Of course, everyone knows this assertion is ludicrous. Even the race-baiters who peddle the lie. Nearly everyone in the U.S. over 18 has an ID. You almost can’t function in our without one.

These young minds understood what is going on. They just don’t ever have anyone on the right engage with them. Trust me, the battle of ideas can easily be won with young minorities if you just engage with them.

Yup. Elitist pasty white liberals exist in a mythical world where they are the ‘white knights’ of the poor, illiterate, inferior black people. They actually fail to see their own racism while frivolously hurling false accusations of racism at those who see everyone as equals. They artificially tear down whole groups of people just they can ride in as if they are heros saving the in order to feed their own ego. It is almost universally pasty white people who are the social justice warriors ‘offended’ on behalf of another group of people. Whites are constantly offended by things that don’t bother the supposed ‘harmed’ group. The Washington Redskins name fiasco is a perfect illustration of this.

is a mythical construct invented for the sole purpose of attacking those who have opposing political ideology. The irony is that ‘white privilege’ was concocted by the one group who actually demonstrates it regularly … white liberals.

Bob Costas, Pasty Guy Offended By Word Native ‘t Offended By

, a PC libtard, reared his ugly smugness again on Sunday.  He decided to school everyone who isn’t offended by the ‘ on why they are wrong … including Native Americans.

starting off telling everyone that the vast majority of Native Americans aren’t offended by the name ‘Redskins’ (and they aren’t), he went on to say that their opinion doesn’t , and that ‘Redskins’ is actually highly .  Apparently, Costas thinks Native Americans are dumb and naive that they need him to protect their fragile psyche.  So he’s stepping up to be offended for them.

The only survey done on the subject that specifically asked Native Americans how they felt showed 90% didn’t think the name ‘Redskins’ was offensive.  As I illustrated recently, everyone except Native Americans are offended by this name.  Most notably, pasty white do-gooders like Costas.

I’ve also pointed out that in my many discussions on this topic, Native Americans believe that people like Costas are attempting to erase Native Americans from our culture, and they think it’s motivated by racial discrimination.

It’s hard to argue against the claim that people like Costas are against Native Americans when he goes on national television and tells them that they are wrong for not being offended by something that only they have the authority to decide is .

Black (not so funny) comedian W. Kamau Bell recently said that ‘can’t say what’s racist or not’ when it comes to blacks being offended.  Ok, if that’s the , then whites, blacks, asians, etc. can’t say what’s racist or not when it comes to Native Americans. So … up about it.

Costas’ logic to support his argument was to make the point that if we go in (that would be the 1600’s btw), ‘Redskin’ was a derogatory term used to describe Native Americans.

So what?

Hoosier was a derogatory term used to describe people from Indiana, and now we wear that moniker with pride.  Retard and retarded are perfectly legitimate mechanical terms that society foolishly decided was offensive only recently.  Can we go back to just 10 years ago and reclaim retard’s legitimate definition like Costas is suggesting with Redskin?

How about if we reclaim the definition of faggot and fag while we are at it.  It originally had nothing to do with homosexuals, and isn’t used primarily to disparage them now anyway.  Yet we can’t call someone a fag without being of being a homophobe.  Even though the word is rarely used to describe homosexuals.

South Park explained all of this perfectly:

The professionally offended are destroying our society, culture, and language while stoking bigotry where none exist. It’s time to hold their feet to the fire.

UPDATE:

Mofo Politics has a petition to demand Costas change his offensive name.
