Reed College course lectures canceled after student protesters interrupt class to protest Eurocentrism
Among activists’ sticking points, especially for a group of students called Reedies Against Racism, was Hum 110. The course, which faces a curricular and pedagogical review every 10 years but has maintained a fundamentally Western orientation, is simply too white, too male and too Eurocentric, critics charged, especially for a course required of all students. Moreover, the student activists said, Hum 110 largely ignores how these works may have been used over time to perpetuate violence against people of color.

Well, since you asked, the agent runs his hand inside a passenger’s waistband and also runs his hand up the back of each leg until he “meets resistance” and then does the same from the front of each leg. And then the TSA agent swipes the front of his hands 3 or 4 times right over the zipper area of one’s Gap Outlet comfort-stretch khakis. That last part was the most unpleasant.

Yes, Notre Dame Students Who Walked Out On Pence Are Snowflakes – Podcast
by Casey | May 24, 2017 | Blog, Podcast, Podcasts
When a few Notre Dame graduates walked out on Vice President Mike Pence, I highlighted that they were actually booed. This in spite of the media narrative.
Two of these people went on CNN to tell everyone how afraid some people were for their lives merely by Mike Pence being in the room.
I break down this interview, and a silly little letter a Notre Dame faculty member wrote in support of these snowflake protesters.

Watch: Crowd Boos Snowflakes Who Walked Out On Mike Pence Commencement Speech – The Burning Truth
They’ve been trying to sell it as a ‘respectful’ protest the week leading up to the commencement. That is a lie. If they didn’t want to hear Pence speak, they didn’t have to show up. You graduate either way. This was designed to get them attention, and be disrespectful not just to the former Governor, and current Vice President, but to be disrespectful to everyone else in attendance. It was a pathetic ‘look at me!’ moment.

Leading up to the Vice President’s commencement speech, we talked about the plot by a few dozen Notre Dame students to walk out during Pence’s speech. It‘s the ultimate snowflake move. Run away from people you disagree with because you are fragile and weak. The inability to listen to someone with whom they disagree will negatively affect them the rest of their lives.
Furthermore, this was designed to be disruptive.
Dutifully, the media ran with it. Headlines emblazoned with ‘Notre Dame Students Walk Out On Pence Commencement Speech’ and the like are all over the internet. No one highlights the fact that there were so few who walked out, and that the crowd booed the snot out of them as they ran away to seek shelter in their safe spaces from one of the nicest, most decent human beings I know.
