Downtown South Bend’s Smart Streets initiative is being peddled as an awesome project by Mayor Buttigieg. The Mayor is also saying businesses aren’t suffering, and are happy with the project. We haven’t been hearing that at all. We’ve heard from several businesses in downtown that Smart Streets have been business crushing, and the Mayor’s administration isn’t supporting them.
Aaron Goldstein from Michiana Brewers Supply wanted to come on the show to address what small businesses are going through in downtown South Bend during the Smart Streets project.
