I tell the story of the time Social Distortion played a concert for my radio station and I instantly stopped being a fan after their spoiled, childish behavior towards radio station staff and their fans. Social Distortion frontman Mike Ness assaulted a fan who paid good money to hear all three of their hit songs after the fan protested Ness’s criticism of President Trump.
Clarification of something I said in the segment:
Some radio jocks wouldn’t play Social Distortion on our stations for years, but the outright ban might have been only months, not years.
