We were discussing Nancy Pelosi‘s hypocritical remarks that the extra money you get in your paycheck because of the GOP tax cuts was ‘crumbs.’ In 2011 she said an extra $40 per paycheck was going to make a big difference for middle-class families. A caller called to say that even an extra $40 meant he could take his wife out on a date. That would stimulate the economy. I pointed out earlier in the segment that wealthy people don’t think an extra $40 is a big deal, but for Americans juggling which bill they pay on which paycheck, it is a very big difference.
