The Fresno shooting suspect accused of killing three people on Tuesday shouted “Allahu Akbar” when he was taken into custody by law enforcement, according to Fresno Police Chief Jerry Dyer – but the Associated Press made an editorial decision to print the translation of his words from Arabic to English: “God is great.”

On April 19, 2017 Aaron Hernandez was discovered hanged in his cell by corrections officers at the Souza Baranowski Correctional Center in Shirley Massachusetts at approximately 3:05 a.m., lifesaving techniques were attempted on Mr. Hernandez and he was transported to UMASS Leominster where he was pronounced dead at 4:07 a.m. by a physician at the hospital.

Another day, another PR disaster for a huge corporation. After United and Pepsi drew the ire of the Internet last week, Adidas managed to also piss everyone off with this email congratulating runners for “surviving” the Boston Marathon.
