One of the greatest moments in my radio career.
As an Irish fan, I was bummed that Brittney Griner and Baylor defeated the Irish women to win the national title last night. I was, however, glad that Brittney Griner took a moment to call in about a topic we were discussing this morning.
We were taking calls on whether a transgender person should be allowed to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. I noticed Craig started laughing off mic, and wondered what was going on. I took one more call before Brittney came on.

Please don’t take this too seriously. It was an unplanned call that caught us off guard, and was very funny. Brittney is an amazing athlete, and wonderful person by all accounts.
Again, congrats to Brittney and her teammates for making history.
